Apathy & Celph Titled – Maybe

Talking about a smooth talker, Apathy shows he totally understands how to approach and talk to women. Not only does he ask the right questions the right way, he also shows exactly what he’s looking for in a woman.

The way this track comes together is a job well done on their 2007 album ‘No Place Like Chrome’. It actually is a conversation instead of a monologue, which (in this case) means Apathy gets a reply after almost every line. Starting off with a ‘no’ after every line in the first verse, a ‘maybe’ in the second and a ‘yeah’ in the third, he’s got everything covered. ‘Maybe’ seems to be the one and only correct song title for this track.

It’s flirty, it’s fun and it’s deep. It shows what he is looking for and it seems that he has found it. I’m sure a lot of you guys out there recognize yourselves in Apathy’s description of what he’s looking for in a woman, as I am sure I’m not the only woman that recognizes herself in this track.
Man or woman, there’s a big chance you see a reflection of your wishes and desires for (future) relationships.

I think I’m gonna make a playlist with these types of tracks for future romances. Let’s see how my future boyfriends responds to it. Is he as enthusiastic as me? Then maybe he has potential. Is he not? I can show him the door in an early stage. Now what y’all think about that?!
